Josh Radnor ("Ted")

Josh Radnor's television credits include "The Court," "Judging Amy," "Welcome to New York," "Miss Match," "ER," "Six Feet Under" and "Law & Order."

Radnor appeared on Broadway in "The Graduate" opposite Kathleen Turner. Off Broadway he has appeared at the Vineyard Theater, the Manhattan Theater Club and the Blue Light Theater Company.

He also appeared in the feature film "Not Another Teen Movie."

Radnor was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, and lives in Los Angeles. He attended Kenyon College, where he won the Paul Newman Acting Trophy, and received his M.F.A. in acting from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. His birth date is July 29.


Cobie Smulders ("Robin")

Cobie Smulders' television credits include her lead role in "Veritas," and a recurring role in "The L Word," as well as appearances in "Andromeda," "Smallville," "Tru Calling," "Jeremiah" and "Special Unit 2."

Her theater credits include "Singing in the Rain," "Grease" and "Women and Wallace."

She appears in the upcoming production on the feature film "The Long Weekend."

She grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia, and lives in Los Angeles. Her birth date is April 3.


A television staple since his Golden Globe-nominated role in "Doogie Howser, M.D.," Neil Patrick Harris has established himself in the theater. He recently starred in the London musical production of "Tick, Tick…Boom," having previously starred in Broadway's Tony Award-winning musical "Assassins," "Cabaret" and "Proof." His theater credits also include the Los Angeles production of "Rent" and "Romeo and Juliet" at San Diego's Old Globe Theater.

His other television credits include the series "Stark Raving Mad," "Will & Grace" and "Boomtown," and the mini-series "Joan of Arc," the upcoming movie "The Christmas Shoes 2" and the series "NUMB3RS," all on CBS.

His feature film credits include "Harold and Kumar Go to the White Castle," "Undercover Brother," "Starship Troopers," "The Next Big Thing" and "Clara's Heart," for which he received a Golden Globe nomination.

Harris was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and lives in Los Angeles. His birth date is June 15.


Jason Segel ("Marshall")

Jason Segel is best known to television audiences for his role as Nick Andopolis in the series "Freaks and Geeks."

His additional television credits include recurring roles in CSI: and "Undeclared."

Among Segel's feature film credits are "Pick of Destiny," "The Good Humor Man," "SLC Punk!," "New Jersey Turnpikes" and "Slackers."

He was born and raised in Los Angeles, where he lives. His birth date is January 18.


Alyson Hannigan ("Lily")

Alyson Hannigan is best known to television audiences as "Willow" in the series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," for which she won a Teen Choice Award and a Saturn Award.

Her other television credits include "Touched by an Angel" and "Picket Fences," on CBS, "Veronica Mars," "King of the Hill," "That '70s Show," "Angel" and "Roseanne."

Her feature film credits include "American Pie," "American Pie 2," for which she won a Teen Choice Award, "American Wedding," "Beyond the City Limits," "Dead Man on Campus" and "My Stepmother Is an Alien."

Hannigan was born in Washington, D.C., and raised in Atlanta. She lives in Los Angeles. Her birth date is March 24.
